Bottom line: Mobile Legends costume (skin) prices in 2026 run from Rp 25,000 (approx. $1.55) for the Basic tier up to millions of Rupiah for Collector skins and retired skins that can no longer be obtained. Three things set the price: rarity level (the skin's production quality), how you get it (direct purchase vs. gacha vs. limited event), and whether the skin is still available or already retired. This article breaks the prices down tier by tier — and sets the record straight on two terms people constantly get wrong: "Supreme" and "Lightborn."
Every example skin name below is verified from public sources (Liquipedia, ONE Esports, GamingOnPhone) — not made up. Diamond costs are the more reliable benchmark; Rupiah prices are market estimates. USD figures are approximate (~Rp 16,000 = $1).
Important to understand: MLBB has two separate axes that people often mix up. First, the rarity/quality level (the skin's production grade). Second, the acquisition category (where the skin comes from — this drives price and scarcity, but it is not a "better/worse" ladder).
Rarity/quality level (low → high):
Acquisition categories (not a quality ladder — price depends on scarcity):
To estimate an account's value based on the tier of skins it owns, the ML account price calculator can give you an automatic breakdown.
The two lowest tiers with the easiest access. Usually obtained through the normal shop, daily events, or the Battle Pass. High availability, since many can still be bought at any time.
Basic tier (Rp 25K–90K, approx. $1.55–$5.60):
Elite tier (Rp 50K–150K, approx. $3.10–$9.40):
Skins in both of these tiers are relatively "evergreen" — prices stay stable because they're always available. An account whose collection is mostly Basic+Elite usually falls into the "budget account" bracket, worth Rp 200K–1M (approx. $12.50–$62.50).
The mid-tier most sought after by regular players. Special is usually an event/shop skin with unique particles; Starlight is a monthly subscription skin with a low net cost.
Special tier (Rp 150K–400K, approx. $9.40–$25):
Starlight tier (Rp 80K–300K effective, approx. $5–$18.75):
Starlight skins are sought after for their exclusivity — they release for one month, then retire. To check whether the Starlight Pass is worth it in ROI terms, the Starlight calculator already includes a full breakdown.
Epic is the standard premium tier and is heavily sought after; Limited/Collab are limited-event skins whose prices rise on the second-hand market after the event ends.
Epic tier (Rp 200K–600K, approx. $12.50–$37.50):
Limited / Collab tier (Rp 400K–1.5M on the market, approx. $25–$93.75):
What makes Limited/Collab skins expensive on the second-hand market: after the event closes, many enter "permanent retirement." An account with a large Limited/Collab collection has usually already crossed into the sultan (whale) bracket (Rp 3–5M+, approx. $187.50–$312.50+).
This is MLBB's highest premium segment. Almost always obtained through gacha, with a total cost that can match the price of a full budget account.
Legend tier (Rp 2–3M via gacha, approx. $125–$187.50):
Before pulling a Legend, calculate the actual cost first with the Magic Wheel calculator — it's often cheaper to buy an account that already has it than to gacha from zero.
Collector tier/category (Rp 700K–1.5M to acquire, approx. $43.75–$93.75):

These two terms are frequently misused in skin price lists, so it's important to clear them up so you don't misjudge an account:
Myth 1: "Supreme is a tier above Collector." False. "Supreme" is indeed an official Moonton term, but it's a label in the Collection System used to group Legend skins together (each worth 4,000 collection points) — not a separate rarity tier above Collector. Editorial sources that discuss the rarity ladder (ONE Esports, esportsku) don't even list "Supreme" as a tier. So in practice Supreme ≈ Legend, not a standalone most-expensive tier.
Myth 2: "Lightborn is the most expensive Supreme skin." False. "Lightborn" is the name of a skin series (the Lightborn Squad — Moniyan knights like Tigreal, Granger, Harith, Wanwan, etc.). Lightborn skins are sold permanently in the shop at the Epic/Special tier for ~899–1,089 Diamonds — the exact opposite of rare. The hero Argus isn't a member of the Lightborn Squad either: Argus's skin roster (Dark Angel, Light of Dawn, Catastrophe, etc.) contains no Lightborn-themed skin at all, so the "Argus Supreme-tier skin" claim that shows up in some old lists is simply wrong.
So which skins are actually the most expensive? The ones with the highest market value aren't "Supreme" but rather retired/limited skins that can no longer be obtained (e.g., Blue Specter Layla, M-Series championship skins) plus Collector skins. Full details are in The Most Expensive MLBB Skins 2026.
Is "Supreme" the most expensive skin tier in Mobile Legends?
Not exactly. "Supreme" is a Collection System label for Legend skins (4,000 collection points), not a separate rarity tier above Collector. The skins with the genuinely highest market value are retired/limited skins (that can no longer be obtained) and Collector skins from the Exquisite Collection gacha.
What's the total cost to top up every skin in Mobile Legends?
The total for a complete skin collection in 2026 runs roughly Rp 80–150 million (approx. $5,000–$9,375) depending on tier and rarity. Rough estimate: hundreds of Basic+Elite skins ~Rp 8–15M (approx. $500–$937.50), Special+Epic ~Rp 25–35M (approx. $1,562.50–$2,187.50), Limited+Collector ~Rp 40–60M (approx. $2,500–$3,750), Legend ~Rp 20–40M (approx. $1,250–$2,500). That's why a sultan account with a 400+ skin collection can be worth tens of millions — but topping up from zero always costs more than the price of a second-hand account.
Which skin tier rises in price most often on the second-hand market?
Limited and Collab skins rise most often because the event window is very short (7–14 days) and there's no guarantee they'll return. Anniversary collab or M-Series skins whose franchise goes viral can rise significantly. Conversely, Epic and Special skins that can still come back via re-events are more stable.
How do you get a Collector skin without heavy gacha?
The most economical strategy: combine the daily discount on single draws, the first 10x bundle, and accumulating Regal Coins with a target of 720 Coins to redeem your chosen skin. The optimal total is around 2,000–2,500 Diamonds, far cheaper than the average path. For a per-scenario simulation, use the Collector skin calculator.
Which skin tier is most worth it for an average player?
For an average player (1–2 hours/day, Mythic rank or below), the most worth-it tiers are Epic and Starlight. Epic (Rp 200K–600K, approx. $12.50–$37.50) gives fancy visuals for a frequently used hero; Starlight (Rp 80K effective, approx. $5) gives 1 new skin per month plus utility (EXP boost, Crystal of Aurora) useful for other gachas.
